Empower Hour will offer students a wide variety of programming in their own school building, immediately before or after school. All Empower Hour programs will meet once a week for six weeks, and are priced in three different tiers to reflect the amount of supplies needed. The programs at each specific school will change throughout the year - some examples of programming that we will offer include art, sports, science, music, karate, crafting, recreation classes, and more!

Huron Valley Recreation & Community Ed offers many different Special Events throughout the year, including our annual Trick or Trucks in October, Candy Cane Hunt & Cookie Decorating in December, family dances and Glow In the Dark Easter Egg Hunt! Partnership between HV Rec and Ed, HV Youth Baseball/Softball League and the Cannons Baseball Organization.

Adult tennis classes are available for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Classes focus on movement, footwork, basic tactics, strategy, and drills.

Future Stars is an in-house league that provides the opportunity for students to learn and play basketball in a recreational setting. Our program focuses on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and FUN! This instructional program utilizes volunteers for coaching (this volunteer will likely be a parent).

Learning continues beyond the bell with youth programs in the evenings and over the Summer.

Your kids can participate in a variety of leagues, programs and clinics ranging from instructional to recreational to advanced.
