HVS Adult Education offers programs including; High School Completion, GED Preparation, & Testing, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Certified Nurse Aide Training (CNA). Below you will find links to programs that residents and non HVS residents can register for.

E-Hour is a Before/After-School Enrichment/Recreation Program offered at the Middle Schools. E-Hour will offer students a wide variety of programming in their own school. Some classes will have their own separate fee due to larger supply needs, etc. There will also be some programs that you can pay a $20/month fee and attend any included program. Details will be provided on a class by class basis.

Empower Hour is a Before/After-School Enrichment/Recreation Program offered at the Elementary Schools. Empower Hour will offer students a wide variety of programming in their own school. All Empower Hour programs will meet once a week for six weeks, and are priced in three different tiers to reflect the amount of supplies needed. The programs at each specific school will change throughout the year - some examples of programming that we will offer include art, sports, science, music, karate, crafting, recreation classes, and more!

From preschool "parent & tot" classes to our competitive Huron Valley Team Gymnastics, our comprehensive gymnastics program has just the class for your child to learn some skills!

Looking for a way to help other kids enjoy the HV Rec and Ed programming, who otherwise can't afford to participate?  We have just the thin for you!  You can donate to our scholarship fund.  We work hard to provide opportunities for every person in our community, but sometimes, there are families who can't afford our programming.  We do provide scholarships to these families and with your help, we can provide even more of these opportunities for deserving families this coming year.  Whether you want to help a little or a lot, you are making a difference to these families, thank you!

Huron Valley Recreation & Community Ed offers many different Special Events throughout the year, including our annual Trick or Trucks in October, Candy Cane Hunt & Cookie Decorating in December, family dances and Glow In the Dark Easter Egg Hunt! Plus we will offer pop up events throughout the year too! Check back often to see what is going on with Rec and Ed!
