Students will create posters, present on announcements, and talk to students during lunch to teach others how to knock out bullying. It will be a great way to build self-confidence and skills to handle tough growing-up situations. Pick up in the Bus Loop.

  • Basketball - Spring Mills Empower Hour

    Get ready to have fun, build your game. First Half: We’ll sharpen essential skills like ball control (dribbling & passing), shooting, defense, and court awareness — all through engaging drills that keep kids moving and learning. Second Half: Time to put it all together with exciting games! From 5v5 and 4v4 matchups to fast-paced mini challenges, kids will get plenty of play time and chances to show off their new skills. All skill levels are welcome — whether you’re just starting or already love the game, this is the perfect place to grow, compete, and have a blast after school!

    Is your child feeling bored? Here's a CLUE for what they can do: come join some of their friends in some good, old-fashioned board games! BINGO! It is sure to be PERFECTION! It will be more fun than a BARREL OF MONKEYS! It's easy to sign up, no TROUBLE at all, you won't be SORRY you did!

  • Candy Cane Hunt

    Come experience our annual Candy Cane Hunt! Kids will get to search an indoor course for candy canes and receive some take home holiday craft projects! Hot chocolate will also be served to help warm up the festivities! We will offer "Hunt" times throughout the 2 hour period and we will lump similar ages/sizes together for the "hunt". So just come when you can and we'll make sure your kids get to hunt while you are at the event. If you are interested, we will be offering a separate, but simultaneous event that you are welcome to register for as well. We will be hosting a Holiday Cookie Decorating event that day too! This event is geared towards children 9 years and younger. Older children are allowed to register/attend, but please note that the crafts and activities are geared towards younger children. When you arrive please check-in inside the school entrance and then the event leaders will announce "hunt" times throughout the event. Self Directed Areas (open 5-7:30 p.m.) for each paying participant: Visit with Santa, holiday craft pick up area, hot chocolate, face painting, indoor snowball fight and more. Parents don't forget to bring your camera!!! Additionally, if you are interested in helping out a family who, otherwise, couldn't afford this event, you may select a variety of scholarship donations below.
  • Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid and Safe Home Alone

    Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. One-day class. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information.Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years). To be certified students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end and successfully complete all skills, which requires full motor function of all four extremities. No refunds or credit with less than 24-hour notice. If you need a medical exception, email Live Safe Academy at info@LiveSafeAcademy.com before class. Bring a snack, pen and paper for notes is optional. No cell phone use during class except during break. Please note that students must arrive on time to be certified, so please arrive up to 10 minutes early. Parents, this class is for students who are independent and responsible enough to be responsible for the safety and well-being of younger children with out adult supervision. Please check in your student at the beginning of class. Drop off and pick up is in the same room as class. This class sometimes ends late, approximately 10 minutes.     Fencing: (Grades 2-5): Join this fast-paced, inclusive (everyone participates) Olympic Sport. {YEL!}’s Teach It, Practice It, Play It® approach teaches fencers new skills each class, practices those skills in kid-friendly fencing games, and then encourages students to use those skills in fencing bouts (matches). All equipment provided. Taught by {YEL!} Youth Enrichment League. Fencing (Grades 6-12): Join this fast-paced, inclusive (everyone participates) Olympic Sport. {YEL}’s Teach It, Practice It, Play It® approach teaches fencers new skills each class, practices those skills in kid-friendly fencing games, and then encourages students to use those skills in fencing bouts (matches). All equipment provided. Fencing is consistently one of the fastest growing high school sports. It primarily appeals to those athletes we label as “intellectual athletes”. This type of athlete enjoys computers, video games, maybe engineering, but hasn’t found “their sport” yet. Fencing could be the next step in their athletic journey. Fencing also appeals to athletes that have been in more traditional sports but have found that they are looking for something new, unique…and that has swords!

Flag Football is just another wonderful entry point for girls into the great game of football and it's one of the newly added sports for the 2028 Olympics in LA! Practices and games will be on Sunday afternoons.

Learning a new craft in a fun environment surrounded by students who also enjoy crafts will help students make new connections with peers and expand their creative vision.Book Club with LampersStudents will read a book on their own and come together at book club to discuss what they read, play book trivia and book related crafts centered around the book selected to read!

    Winter Wonderland arts & crafts with Miss Ziolko! (evening class)Get ready to create, craft, and celebrate the magic of winter in this fun and festive arts and crafts class with Miss Ziolko! This class will have kids using their imagination and creativity to make winter-themed masterpieces — from sparkling snowflakes and cozy critters to frosty scenes and holiday keepsakes.Each week brings a new project using a variety of materials and techniques, helping students build fine motor skills while expressing themselves through art. With winter music, stories, and plenty of glitter, it’s the perfect way to warm up those creative minds all season long!Let's Dance with Miss Ziolko!" (morning class)This fun and energetic dance class is perfect for any child who love to move, groove, and express themselves! Each class will start with stretches to build strength and flexibility, followed by learning basic dance moves in a supportive and upbeat environment. Students will put those moves together into fun, short routines that build confidence, coordination, and creativity. Whether your child is brand new to dance or already loves performing, this class is designed to inspire a love of movement while making new friends and having fun!
  • Futsal League (Indoor Soccer)

    What is Futsal? Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided soccer game that is played across the world and is officially recognized by both FIFA and UEFA. Futsal is recognized as a scaled down version of outdoor soccer played indoors. It is a 5 v 5 small-sided game played on a hard surfaced, basketball sized court with a smaller, low bounce ball. Futsal places a large emphasis on technical skill in high pressure situations which can be translated into the outdoor game. The sport is a great skill developer as it demands quick reflexes, fast thinking and pin-point passing. Why Futsal? Allows players to frequently touch the ball. Presents many opportunities to score goals and score goals often. Encourages regaining possession of the ball as a productive, fun and rewarding part of the game (defending). Maximizes active participation and minimizes inactivity and boredom. Eliminates complicated rules such as off-sides that may hinder youngsters from "playing". Divisions offered will be: Ages 4-5; Ages 6-8; and 8-11 All teams will practice for 30 minutes and then play for 30-45 minutes (depending on the age group) Games and practices will be held on Sundays at Oak Valley Center. Coaches Meeting @ TBD Volunteer Coaches will receive a 25% discount on team fees (applied AFTER registration) Team fees will include a uniform t-shirt. Other needed equipment will need to be provided by the families (soccer socks and shin guards). Balls/cones/pinnies/other equipment is available for teams to share on site. Free/Reduced Lunch and Multi-child discounts apply.
  • Future Stars Basketball Developmental League (Gr K-2 Coed)

    Designed especially for young players, this league is a fun introduction to the game of basketball! The first half of each session is dedicated to drills and fun skill-building games, helping players learn fundamentals like dribbling, passing, and shooting. The second half is game time, where kids get to put their skills into action in real 4v4 or 5v5 games. All players receive a team jersey. Lead coaches will guide the program, and parent volunteers are encouraged to help during drills and games. Space is limited, so register early to reserve your spot!
