3v3 Half-Court Basketball Tournament
HV Rec & Ed 3v3 Tournament The HV Rec & Ed 3v3 Tournament is a fast paced, one day competition for players 3rd grade through adults. With games played 3 on 3, every player gets more touches, more shots, and more chances to make big plays.Games are played to 21 points (1s & 2s) or a 25 minute time limit, keeping the action intense and moving all day long. Sign up as a team : 4 players per team (3 play, 1 sub) Pool play + single elimination bracket Coed teams welcome Whether you’re coming to compete, stay sharp for next season, or just enjoy a day of high energy basketball at the park this is the tournament you don’t want to miss. Grab your friends and get ready to compete on the blacktop. Spots are limited. Get your team registered.Divisions will be offered for the following age groups: Youth boy and girls divisions include 3rd–4th grade, 5th–6th grade, 7th–8th grade, 9th–10th grade, and 11th–12th grade. Young adult male and female divisions include ages 18–20 and 21–25. Adult divisions male and female include 26–30, 31–35, 36–40 and 40+ Divisions may be combined if registration numbers require. Coed teams are welcome, however, they will compete in the male division.Each team will consist of four players (three on the court and one substitute). Register as a team. Games will be played half court in a 3v3 format. Each game will be played to 21 points using 1s and 2s. A game will end when a team reaches 21 points or when the 25 minute time limit expires. If time runs out, the team with the higher score will be declared the winner. If overtime is needed, the first team to score first will win. -

Adult Pickleball - Beginner Pickleball Lessons (age 15 +) This 3 week series of lessons will cover how to play pickleball. Learn the rules, how to serve/return, keeping score, dink/drop shots, drive/attack shots, hitting zones, punch volleys, and court coverage. Beginner class for archery introduces future archers to the basics of shooting a bow so they can take the first steps to learning the art. It covers the overall rules for range safety, equipment usage, and the proper form of archery. Practice is essential with the opportunity for games suggested by the instructor or anyone from the class. This would be a 4-week class with equipment and shooting range time included. Every week the archer will work on safety, techniques, and skills so they can move forward within the sport. The course will cover the 11 shooting steps in Archery. Coaching by USA Level 3 instructor will be provided (participants are allowed to use their own equipment). -
Archery - Intermediate
After completing Beginner Archery, the students can register for Intermediate Archery. This class enables individuals to build blocks on what was learned in the beginner class as a result individuals will experience various types of competitive archery such as Olympic FITA style targets and scoring, NFAA targets and scoring, 3D targets and scoring, and more. This would be a 6-week class with equipment and shooting range time included. Every week the archer will work on safety, techniques, and skills so they can move forward within the sport. The course will cover the 11 shooting steps in Archery with focus on use of sights and back tension to execute shots. Coaching by USA Level 3 instructor will be provided (participants are allowed to use their own equipment). -

Intro to Sports Officiating
The Michigan High School Athletic Association has partnered with an online education system called RefReps. HV Rec and Community Ed is offering this officiating training for anyone ages 14 and older to get trained and certified to become an MHSAA official. There will be online training tools as well as in person lessons where students will get hands on training. HV Rec and Ed will also be offering jobs to officiate in the various leagues offered throughout the year. Wages are competitive and work schedules are flexible to work around busy school/sports/life schedules. This program will offer training in basketball, volleyball and soccer as the primary sports, but there will be options for students to get trained in any of the 13 offerings. The online training is interactive and provides "real life" examples from the official's perspective in live games. Course Fee: $75/sport (basketball, soccer and volleyball)- this includes online training, in person training, MHSAA license once the student successfully passes the course and lifetime access to the resources. All other sports will be $50/sport because it will ONLY be the online training, no hands on included. -
Junior Golf Academy
Mystic Creek’s Junior Golf Academy, open to players ages 6 to 14, will be held Wednesday mornings. The academy, which will be divided into three age groups, will provide instruction and the basic rules, processes, routines and techniques of the game, giving young golfers the tools they need to play and enjoy the game for a lifetime. Each week instructors will cover different aspects of the game. Participants should arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled instruction time, and will be expected to follow guidelines for safety and be courteous of other participants. Our Junior Golf Academy will conclude with a tournament on July 22, followed by an awards luncheon. Arrive the same scheduled time for the last day of the tournament as previous weeks. Equipment Needed for Week 1: Players will need their own bag, clubs, balls and tees. Golf shoes or tennis shoes only; no cleats, please. For the safety of all participants, golfers should not swing their club until the instructors have given approval. Junior Golf League (Ages 10-15)
Mystic Creek’s Junior Golf League is open to players ages 10-15. Golfers will play nine holes each Tuesday, walking the course and playing multiple formats and while being monitored on playing processes & scenarios on the course. Pull carts are allowed, but not included in the cost. Golfers must bring their own bag, clubs and additional equipment. Previous experience is preferred. The Junior Golf League will play 9 holes on the final day with luncheon.• In the case of cancellations due to weather, league dates will be added.• Golfers are expected to play unless thunderstorms are present. In partnership with Mystic Creek Golf Course. Tuesday Weekly Schedule: 6:45 a.m. Players arrive, go to the putting green.6:50 a.m. Tips at the practice putting green. 7 a.m. Pairings announced and scorecards distributed. 7:10 a.m. Players report to starting holes.7:15 a.m. Play begins all at the same time.9:15 a.m. Players complete their round and return to the putting green.9:30 a.m. Players turn in their scorecards. LHS Girls Basketball Youth Camp
Instruction for this camp with be provided by Lakeland's varsity girls basketball coach, Michael Leitheim, his staff, as well as current and former girls basketball players at Lakeland. This camp is open to any girl, incoming K-9 graders, and will focus on skill development on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. This camp will give participants an opportunity to learn more about the game while interacting with new people. T-shirt is included in the fee. You must be registered by June 12 at 12 p.m. to guarantee a t-shirt. You can still register after this deadline, but a t-shirt cannot be guaranteed for those late registrations. The registration fee will be charged on 5/1/26. -

This camp is for all players - incoming Freshman-Seniors (current 8-11 graders).Incoming 9th and current 9-11th grade football players Install Camp is a must to be on the same page for this new beginning. We will go through scheme, philosophy and strategy that is vital to results. This camp will start the summer and have players ready to learn the game, effort and process. No Substitution for EFFORT Enrollment for incoming 9-12th graders. Install is complete; execution begins, as a team. This camp will be our foundation for the season. Players will learn most of our schemes on offense, defense and specials. Players will learn the importance of effort and competition needed to be successful. T shirt provided. LHS Pom Camp (Grades 1-8)
The Lakeland Pom Summer Camp gives younger girls the opportunity to have fun, try new skills, and perform. Each participant will get the chance to learn a unique and fun pom routine. Grades 1-5 will learn a beginner routine with our JV Pommers, while grades 6-8 will learn a slightly more advanced routine with our Varsity Pommers. Additionally, they will have fun socializing and meeting new friends along with hanging out with the JV and Varsity Pom team members. Lastly, they will shine in the spotlight while performing alongside the Lakeland Pom teams for a special family and friends showcase during the last hour of our final camp day! PARTICIPANTS SHOULD WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES, TENNIS SHOES AND BRING EXTRA WATER TO CAMP! This camp is designed to teach the fundamental skills of football in a fun, energetic, and safe environment. This is a non-contact camp focused on proper technique and skill development in tackling form, throwing, kicking/punting, receiving, and blocking. Campers will also work on speed, quickness, and overall athletic development. This is a great opportunity for players to build confidence, improve their skills, and get high school level coaching before their season begins.
