Gymnastics- Intermediate

Huron Valley Gymnastics is a recreational and competitive gymnastics program that offers classes to children ages 18 months-18 years. We offer fun, safe and affordable gymnastics for those looking to compete or learn a cartwheel. Staff consists of coaches with backgrounds in education, cheer, dance and gymnastics. Girls and boys are welcome in our toddler/preschool and school age programs.

School Age / Recreational Gymnastics- For boys and girls ages 5-14 years old.  Gymnasts will be instructed on all pieces of equipment.  Strength, balance, flexibility, body awareness and confidence are all concepts we will work on.

Beginning- Stretching, body positions, forward and backward rolls, handstand, cartwheel, bridge and skills on equipment will be worked on.  If you can't do a cartwheel yet, this is the class for you.

Intermediate- We will work on the skills listed for the Beginning class and start working on back walkovers as well as  more difficult skills on equipment.

Advanced- Gymnasts should be able to do a back walkover on the floor and working back handspring.  This is our most advanced class before our competitive team.
