Musical Theater with Mr. Marquis

The Country Oaks after-school musical theatre production this year is "Pirates". Any Country Oaks student in fourth or fifth grade may participate, if they're able to attend at least two rehearsals every week after school till 5:15 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. For the final week, we will need everyone at rehearsal on Tuesday and Wednesday, and our performance will be at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, Nov. 30 in the Country Oaks gym. Everyone in the show will have plenty of opportunities to shine, and leading roles will be assigned according to ability, attitude, and attendance. Excellent behavior is expected. Bring a snack for after school, and be ready to sing, dance, act, work hard, and have lots of fun! Students will receive a script to keep. Families will be asked to provide some basic pirate costume items, and some parent help coordinating costumes, the cast party, and other needs would be welcome.
