In this 3 week hand-building clay workshop, students will develop an understanding of clay properties, processes & vocabulary. Beginning with flat slabs, students will cut, fold and add surface detail and texture to create an owl! They will finish their bisque-fired owl using bright colors and an oil pastel resist technique.

8 -9 AM :
Please drop your student off at the front car rider circle. We will gather before entering the main entrance together. I will release your child to their class line after clay club at the start of the school day. If you are running behind and the front entrance is locked, please remain with your child and we will check back frequently.

4:15-5:15 PM: 
I will gather students after dismissal at 4:08 in the art room. After the session is over, I will walk your child out to the front circle at 5:15 to your waiting vehicle. If you are running behind, please email if possible to let me know and I will remain with your child until you arrive.

 Note: If your child will be absent, please email to let me know and we can arrange to make up the session at another time.
