The Country Oaks after-school musical theater production this year is called Space Pirates! Any Country Oaks student in third, fourth, or fifth grade may participate. Our performance will be on Wednesday, November 19th at 7:00 P.M. in the Country Oaks gym.

Space Pirates rehearsals will start on Thursday, October 2nd, and we’ll be practicing two or three days a week after school on some Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until 5:15 P.M. Parents will get a final schedule once we get started and we find out what days work best for which kids.

Students will need to be at two rehearsals every week in order to keep up, and all cast members will need to be at our dress rehearsals on Monday & Tuesday, November 17th & 18th.

Parts will be assigned according to ability, attitude, and attendance. Everybody will have plenty to do! Excellent behavior is expected, and poor behavior may result in the child being removed from the class without a refund.

Parents will be asked to provide some basic Space Pirate costume items for our performance, and some parent help coordinating costumes, the cast party, and other needs would be welcome.

Everyone can bring a snack for after school, and everyone must have a ride waiting for them after rehearsals at 5:15.
