Baton Twirling

This beginner-level class introduces students to the fundamentals of baton twirling in a fun and supportive environment. Students will learn basic tosses, catches, spins, rolls, body positions, and simple combinations while developing coordination, confidence, strength, flexibility, and performance skills. This 8-week course will also prepare students for an optional performance in the Milford Thanksgiving Parade on Saturday, November 28. No previous experience is required, and students of all ages and abilities are welcome! Equipment needed: purchase a baton before class, batons available for use if not delivered in time for first class.

Ella Dennis recently completed 5 years as a University of Michigan Baton Twirler. She has 16 years of twirling experience and has taught for 7 years. She recently represented the United States at the World Championship in France.
