U12s Red Coach: Alice Montie
I am entering my fourth year coaching with Huron Valley United, after spending several years coaching in the recreational league. As a multi-sport athlete growing up, I developed a lifelong passion for athletics and for helping young athletes discover everything sports can teach them. As a parent of four children in the district who are all actively involved in sports, I understand how important it is to create an environment that emphasizes both skill development and enjoyment of the game. I bring passion to the court and work to inspire the passion of sports to growing minds. What I value most about coaching is watching players grow - not only in their abilities on the court, but also in the confidence, character, and life skills they build along the way. Seeing athletes develop through hard work, teamwork, and personal achievement is the most rewarding part of the experience.
