All equipment provided. Fencing is consistently one of the fastest growing high school sports. It primarily appeals to those athletes we label as “intellectual athletes”. This type of athlete enjoys computers, video games, maybe engineering, but hasn’t found “their sport” yet. Fencing could be the next step in their athletic journey. Fencing also appeals to athletes that have been in more traditional sports but have found that they are looking for something new, unique…and that has swords! Registration fees will be charged on 7/1 for all courses starting after 7/1.

Learn football skills and techniques, improve your understanding of the game of flag football. Flag Football is just another wonderful entry point for girls into the great game of football and it's one of the newly added sports for the 2028 Olympics in LA! Practices and games will be on Sunday afternoons.

Pre-Season Clinics for girls playing in our girls only league or other co-ed programs in the area. Come and learn/fine tune your flag football skills and get ready for your season.Aug 25 we will also be hosting a FREE Coaches Clinic and Officials' Clinic, pre-registration is highly recommended for these too.

Join us Wednesday, March 24 for a hopping good time at our Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt! We will have games, prizes, a craft, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny himself! Pre-registration required. Older kids are welcome, and that kids in the special Ed program are always welcome. Just contact us directly to register anyone over 13 years old. We offer 2 registration rates for the younger kids who may not be old enough yet for candy and the craft. If you are unable to afford the entry fee, please contact us at infohvreced@hvs.org to find out about our scholarship options. The scholarship donation option below is a way that we help families who may not be able to afford events like this one, still attend. We collect donations to help offset the costs of the event.

Come and join one of the staff from Huron Valley Gymnastics for an hour of gymnastics fun. Always wanted to learn a cartwheel? We will teach you. We will work at each child's level, beginning through advanced. Stretching, conditioning and tumbling will all be a part of this class.

Huron Valley Gymnastics is a recreational and competitive gymnastics program that offers classes to children ages 18 months-18 years. We offer fun, safe and affordable gymnastics for those looking to compete or learn a cartwheel. Staff consists of coaches with backgrounds in education, cheer, dance and gymnastics. Girls and boys are welcome in our toddler/preschool and school age programs. Toddler-Preschool Gymnastics- For boys and girls ages 18 months-4 years old. Students will get their first experience with the wonderful sport of gymnastics. Balance, strength, coordination, flexibility and confidence are just a few of the concepts we will work on. We will use all pieces of gymnastics equipment as well as fun preschool equipment. Parent & Tot class- A parent will take part in the class with the students. 3 year old class- We start encouraging the students to participate in the class by themselves (with the parent on the sideline). However, parents may participate with the child if needed similar to the Parent & Tot class. 4 year old class- Students will participate in the class with the parents in the gym on the sideline.

Intermediate- We will work on the skills listed for the Beginning class and start working on back walkovers as well as more difficult skills on equipment. Preteam- Gymnasts should be able to do a back walkover on the floor and working back handspring. This is our most advanced class before our competitive team.

Gymnasts were selected at team tryouts in August. Team participates in 8-10 meets a year in the Michigan Recreational Gymnastics League.

Any gymnast may try out to be a member of our 2026-2027 Huron Valley Gymnastics competitive team. Gymnasts should be familiar with all pieces of equipment and be ready to make a commitment for the 2026-2027 school year. Try Outs will be held at the Oak Valley Center school in the cafeteria.
