Gymnastics- High SchoolGymnasticsHuron Valley Gymnastics is a recreational and competitive gymnastics program that offers classes to children ages 18 months-18 years. We offer fun, safe and affordable gymnastics for those looking to compete or learn a cartwheel. Staff consists of coaches with backgrounds in education, cheer, dance and gymnastics. Girls and boys are welcome in our toddler/preschool and school age programs. Toddler-Preschool Gymnastics- For boys and girls ages 18 months-4 years old. Students will get their first experience with the wonderful sport of gymnastics. Balance, strength, coordination, flexibility and confidence are just a few of the concepts we will work on. We will use all pieces of gymnastics equipment as well as fun preschool equipment. 18 month - 3 years parent will take part in the class with the student. In the 3 and 4 year old classes the student will be in the class by themselves.Summer 2025

HV Rec and Ed Pickleball TournamentPickleballJoin us this Fall for our 2nd Annual HV Rec and Ed Scholarship Fund Pickleball Tournament! This event raises money for our scholarship fund to help families, who need assistance, afford our programs (youth enrichment, youth recreation and special event programs). Come out and help us raise money to help local families and have fun playing pickleball at the same time! Please register as a pair for the Senior division and Saturday/Sunday divisions. Friday evening social play registration is per individual. Please register only 1 person in your pair. The fee is per pair. You will add your partner's name when you register. HV United Cross Country ClubCross Country TeamJoin the HV United Cross Country Club this Fall! We will introduce your young runner to the sport of running/cross country running. We will teach them proper running form/technique and they will have the opportunity to practice their skills at our 2 practices a week. We will have an end of season cross country meet on TBD at Highland Elementary. We will have a K-2 Division and a Gr 3-5 Division (if more are needed, we will create more) Every participant will receive a dri-fit uniform shirt, a certificate of completion and other goodies along the way. Anyone interested in ordering an extra shirt may order one as well (families who want one or if kids want more than one, etc). Registration fee is collected on 8/1/25.Fall 2025

HV United Volleyball Club Skills ClinicsHV United Volleyball ClubHV United Volleyball Club is offering various skills clinics the week of Aug 4. Setting Clinics: Beginner and advanced beginner setting clinics with Morgin Parsley. Morgin is a Senior at Walled Lake Northern this coming fall and was a setter for Legacy VBC the last two seasons and has committed to playing at Oakland University after HS. Morgin has worked with HV Rec and Ed in the past as a volleyball official and is an excellent setter with so much to teach our athletes! Beginner clinics: these clinics will be for kids who have never received any formal training on footwork, body position, hand position, and concepts of a 6-2, 5-1 and 4-2 offense. Adv Beginner clinics: these clinics are for kids who have received some formal training in the areas above but are still working on learning them and want to learn more about set selection and tipping/dumping as well. Defensive Clinics: Gr 3-5 and 6-8 positional clinics with Millie Ashcroft. Millie is a Senior at Milford HS this coming fall and was a DS/Libero for Dynamite VBC for the last few seasons. Morgin is an excellent leader and will teach your kids how to play hard nosed defense! Hitting Clinics: Gr 3-5 and 6-8 positional clinics with Ashley Verhey. Ashley is a Senior at Milford HS this coming fall and was a Opp Hitter for Legacy VBC for the last few seasons but has also played OH and MH. HV United Volleyball Club: TryoutsHV United Volleyball ClubHV United Volleyball Club entering its 4th season and is brought to you by HV Rec and Community Ed. To learn more about the club such as coaches, bios, fees, etc, click HERE. Details: Tryouts - Early Tryouts will be in July 2025. If we still need to fill teams after the early tryouts, then we'll host another tryout this Fall. If you are unable to make it on the original dates still register and we'll contact you about a make up option. Boys Tryouts - held later this summer/fall Girls U10 - no tryouts, register if interested in participating. Season Dates - U11s - U14s: December - March (a few teams may choose to run December - April/May, details available at tryouts) Age Groups - see age cutoffs below to confirm your age group. Girls - U10s (3rd and 4th Grade), U11s (5th Grade), U12 (6th Grade), U13 (7th Grade), U14 (8th Grade), U15 (9th grade) Boys - TBD Practices - TBD, for the 2025/2026; teams will practice 2x a week. Tournaments - Teams will play in approximately 6 local 1-day AAU Tournaments. Tournaments will start in early January and finish at the end of March. Dates and locations TBD. Teams choosing to play an extended season will play in more tournaments and some multi-day events too. The short season teams may also play in 1 multi-day event too. Uniforms - we will have a uniform for the players including a jersey, shorts, socks and kneepads. Price TBD. This is for players who did not make the middle school team this fall OR chose not to try out. This will allow these boys a chance to still play for their school, but in an intramural setting. This program is NOT part of the intramural programs sponsored by the schools, this is a separate program offered through HV Rec and Ed! We will allow 1 non-HVS team to join as well so we have an even 4 teams for games. Each team will consist of 10-12 players from their school. Registration will close Wed., October 29, by then everyone should know if your child made the middle school team or not. Registration fees will not be collected until Fri., October 31, that way if you register now and your child makes the team, you do not have to pay the fee until tryouts are completed. We would like to secure 2 coaches per team and in lieu of paying the coaches, we will waive the entire registration fee for each coach for their time. If you are interested in being a coach for one of these teams, please respond accordingly during registration. If we are able to secure a non-parent coach, we will compensate them for their time.
