Tiny Tots will concentrate on hand-eye coordination, basic tennis movements and stroke basics. The lessons will be offered on a 36' court using red quick-start balls. Learn the fundamentals of soccer as well as the importance of teamwork through Youth Soccer. Everyone plays and everyone is part of the team. Kids develop important soccer skills, including passing, dribbling, shooting and working as a team in a fun and supportive environment. Not only will children have an opportunity to advance skills, but they'll also build social skills, gain confidence and develop leadership skills. Dedicated volunteer coaches are trained to set expectations and help kids find their strengths and improve. This is a co-ed league. Ages 4-5: Practice 25 minutes and Play 30 minutes on Saturday mornings. Practices: 1 practice/week (coaches will select practice days, Mon-Fri starting at 6 or 6:30 p.m.) Games: assigned 1 or 2 games/week, depending on the number of teams in each division. (Location: Carls Family YMCA), game times will be between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Divisions: Ages 6-8 and 8-11; if you have younger/smaller/newer players who are 8 years old, we suggest registering for the 6-8 division; if you have more mature/developed/experienced 8 year old then we suggest the 8-11 year old division. Division 11-14 age group allows our older players a chance to keep playing recreational soccer with us! A three-week series for youth to learn the basics of the game of Pickleball. We will focus on fun, age appropriate, drills for the kids to allow them to learn the basics: forehands, backhands, serve, return, dinks, volleys. Kids will get a chance to play games and work on keeping score. Please have youth dress in comfortable/athletic clothing and appropriate footwear for the lesson. Please bring your own paddle. Through an abridged version of the script “Moana 2”, students will discover the joys of acting, improv, voice, speech, theater, dance and more! Students will begin each day with Singing, Acting and Dance Classes and Rehearse in the afternoon. We’ll have special theme days and special camp activities throughout the week. Camp will end with a culminating presentation where students can showcase the tools and skills they learned with Sunset Theatre Company!
