Safe Town HVSSafety TrainingSafe Town is an early childhood safety education program. Children learn all aspects of safety through projects, songs, games, presentations, and plays. This program teaches bus safety (including a brief bus ride), electricity and water safety, dog safety, stranger safety, bike safety and much more. Visitors come each day. Crafts supporting the daily theme are completed and children get important information about starting school. Part of each day is spent "In the Town" with some of the children being pedestrians and some as drivers of 14" or 16" two-wheel bikes with training wheels. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD BRING IN THEIR OWN LABELED HELMET AND BACKPACK. Safe Town is for children entering Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten or First Grade in the fall. The sessions meet for one week for three hours per day. Children are required to bring their own lunch with a beverage (nut free). ***Registration fees will be charged on 7/1/25.***Summer 2026 -

WaitlistT-Ball League (Ages 4-6)T-Ball - Rec Baseball - Travel BaseballHV Rec and Ed has partnered with Huron Valley Youth Baseball/Softball League (HVYBSL) to bring a newly formatted t-ball league to our community! This program will meet weekly on Monday evenings from 6-7 p.m. at Duck Lake Pines Ball Fields (#1 and #4) HVYBSL will provide lead coaches/managers for each field and they will lead the skills sessions for the first 30 minutes on each day, followed by game play for the last 30 minutes. We will still need volunteer coaches to help execute the drills and to help keep the teams organized during game-play. Team pictures will be TBD prior to game time. Space will be limited so register early! We are limiting this program to the first 40 players (4 teams of 10). Registration fee will be charged on 2/1/26.Winter/Spring 2026
