HV Rec & Ed 3v3 Tournament The HV Rec & Ed 3v3 Tournament is a fast paced, one day competition for players 3rd grade through adults. With games played 3 on 3, every player gets more touches, more shots, and more chances to make big plays.Games are played to 21 points (1s & 2s) or a 25 minute time limit, keeping the action intense and moving all day long. Get your team registered.Divisions will be offered for the following age groups: Youth boy and girls divisions include 3rd–4th grade, 5th–6th grade, 7th–8th grade, 9th–10th grade, and 11th–12th grade. Young adult male and female divisions include ages 18–20 and 21–25. Adult divisions male and female include 26–30, 31–35, 36–40 and 40+ Divisions may be combined if registration numbers require. Coed teams are welcome, however, they will compete in the male division.Each team will consist of four players (three on the court and one substitute). Register as a team. Games will be played half court in a 3v3 format. Each game will be played to 21 points using 1s and 2s. A game will end when a team reaches 21 points or when the 25 minute time limit expires. If time runs out, the team with the higher score will be declared the winner. If overtime is needed, the first team to score first will win.

Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information.Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years). To be certified students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end and successfully complete all skills, which requires full motor function of all four extremities. Bring a snack, pen and paper for notes is optional. No cell phone use during class except during break. Artists and Athletes Gr K-5 are all welcome! Where Art Meets Play is a high-energy, creativity filled camp designed for kids who love to move, create, explore, and have fun in their own way. This unique program blends hands on art experiences with active gym time, giving every child a place to feel successful whether they enjoy sports, creativity, or a little bit of both. Each day, campers rotate between interactive craft stations and movement based gym activities. During art time, kids will participate in fun, hands on projects using paint, mixed media, building materials, and creative design. Projects focus on imagination, self expression, and confidence while allowing campers to create artwork they are proud to bring home. Gym time focuses on play over competition. Campers will take part in sport activities, cooperative games, obstacle courses, relay challenges, and creative movement games. Children who enjoy sports will have opportunities to work on skills and participate in structured activities, while kids who prefer a more relaxed approach can join side games and play based activities that keep everyone active and included. Fun-Tasia is designed as a fit-for-all program that welcomes kids who love being Active, kids who simply enjoy sports or tossing the ball around, and kids who thrive through creativity and hands on arts and crafts. The goal is to create an environment where every child feels comfortable participating, building friendships, and trying new things. Fencing also appeals to athletes that have been in more traditional sports but have found that they are looking for something new, unique…and that has swords! Girls and boys are welcome in our toddler/preschool and school age programs. Toddler-Preschool Gymnastics- For boys and girls ages 18 months-4 years old. Students will get their first experience with the wonderful sport of gymnastics. Balance, strength, coordination, flexibility and confidence are just a few of the concepts we will work on. We will use all pieces of gymnastics equipment as well as fun preschool equipment. Parent & Tot class- A parent will take part in the class with the students. 3 year old class- We start encouraging the students to participate in the class by themselves (with the parent on the sideline). However, parents may participate with the child if needed similar to the Parent & Tot class. 4 year old class- Students will participate in the class with the parents in the gym on the sideline.

Skill Clinics- June 16, July 7, July 21, August 4- Back walkover and Back Handspring Clinic- We will work on the back walkover and back handspring at the gymnast's level. Dancers, cheer leaders and gymnasts welcome to join the class. June 23 and July 14- Tumble for Cheer- We will work on the skills necessary for most cheer teams at the gymnast's level. July 28 and August 11- Bar Clinic- We will work on basic bars skills for the more beginner gymnasts and kips, handstands and uprises for the more advanced gymnast.

Gymnasts were selected at team tryouts in August. Team participates in 8-10 meets a year in the Michigan Recreational Gymnastics League.

Any gymnast may try out to be a member of our 2026-2027 Huron Valley Gymnastics competitive team. Gymnasts should be familiar with all pieces of equipment and be ready to make a commitment for the 2026-2027 school year. Try Outs will be held at the Oak Valley Center school in the cafeteria.
