Travel League: This is an instructional, learning league. This is a travel league; games will be played within Huron Valley, Brighton, Hartland, and Howell. Practices: Begin week of April 6 at various HVS schools. Matches will be played on Friday nights. Season will run April - May. Matches will begin on April 10 and end May 15. Attention Parents: Volunteer coaches are an essential part of our program. If you can help, please indicate this during registration. Without your help, there would be no league! Additionally, we are now offering a discount for our coaches kids registration fees. The discount will be applied AFTER. We offer families on the Free/Reduced Lunch Program discounts. HV United Volleyball Club is hosting several AAU Tournaments this season. Below are the dates and age groups we are hosting: U10s - We are offering 4v4 format and 6v6 format (up to 4 teams accepted for each format) Jan 30 @ OVMS - max 4 teams in each division Feb 27 @ OVMS - max 4 teams in each division U11s- March 1 @ OVMS - max 8 teams U12s - Feb 22 @ OVMS - max 8 teams U13s/U14s - April 11 @ Milford HS - max 20 teams

For the HS and Adult Division we are removing the shirts and the medals to reduce the cost and allow for later registration. But once we are full we can't accept any more registrations. Don't miss out! With only 1 sand court at Central Park, we are adding 1 or 2 outdoor nets on the grass next year. Please select your preference when you register. We can only take 4 or 5 teams for each division for the sand court. HS sports begin on Aug 10, 2026 so HS athletes will still be able to participate in this event for 2026. We allow boys and girls to register for the youth divisions. For the adult division we prefer women only or coed. Registration closes for the younger groups 2 weeks before the event, or when the division is full.

Kids in grades 2–9 can enjoy supervised time in the gym with friends, playing basketball, volleyball, and other fun activities. It’s a great way to burn off energy, stay active, and connect with others in a safe and welcoming environment. Pre-registration is highly recommended. Space is limited.

Looking for opportunities for your volleyball players to work on their skills this fall? We are private lessons for your child to work 1-on-1 with a variety of club and school coaches.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association has partnered with an online education system called RefReps. HV Rec and Community Ed is offering this officiating training for anyone ages 14 and older to get trained and certified to become an MHSAA official. There will be online training tools as well as in person lessons where students will get hands on training. HV Rec and Ed will also be offering jobs to officiate in the various leagues offered throughout the year. Wages are competitive and work schedules are flexible to work around busy school/sports/life schedules. This program will offer training in basketball, volleyball and soccer as the primary sports, but there will be options for students to get trained in any of the 13 offerings. The online training is interactive and provides "real life" examples from the official's perspective in live games. Course Fee: $75/sport (basketball, soccer and volleyball)- this includes online training, in person training, MHSAA license once the student successfully passes the course and lifetime access to the resources. All other sports will be $50/sport because it will ONLY be the online training, no hands on included.
