Spring Mills Orff Sharks!Spring Mills Empower HourCome join our brand new ensemble: the Orff Sharks! Do you like to play xylophones, metallophones, bongos, tubanos, and rhythm instruments? Then this group is for you! We will explore the Orff instruments, improvise, come up with sound stories, and learn some songs. A big part of this group is to learn to play as an ensemble, where different instruments play different parts. Join Jackie and Jack Frost, Old Man Winter, the Frostbites, and several families as they are getting ready to reopen a fabulous resort, but are desperately waiting for snow to arrive! Yoga Club w/ Miss DaySpring Mills Empower HourCome join Miss Day for yoga! Yoga Club Empower Hour is a one-hour class for Grades 2 or 3. Throughout the six weeks, the kids will explore breathing exercises, movement with traditional yoga poses, yoga pose games, relaxation techniques and will have fun meeting new yoga friends in a safe and welcoming environment. We will be doing a variety of yoga flows, games and exercises. Students do not need any prior yoga experience to join. Each student is encouraged to bring a yoga mat or towel, water bottle, and comfortable clothes for movement. There are some mats available to borrow, if needed. While practicing yoga, students will have the option to follow the basic yoga practice of flowing barefoot. We hope to see you there!Fall 2026
