Are you in 1st and 2nd grade? Do you want to explore some stories, books, and fairytales with songs, instruments, games, and puppets? Join our new Music Empower Hour! We'll read a different story every week, sing some songs, act out the story with puppets or ourselves, add some instruments for special effects, and play some musical games. This is NOT a class that ends in a performance. This class is meant as an experience for students.

Come join Miss Day for yoga! Yoga Club Empower Hour is a one-hour class for Grades 2/3 and 4/5 Throughout the 5 weeks, the kids will explore breathing exercises, movement with traditional yoga poses, yoga pose games, relaxation techniques and will have fun meeting new yoga friends in a safe and welcoming environment. We will be doing a variety of yoga flows, games and exercises. Students do not need any prior yoga experience to join. Each student is encouraged to bring a yoga mat or towel, water bottle, and comfortable clothes for movement. There are some mats available to borrow, if needed. While practicing yoga, students will have the option to follow the basic yoga practice of flowing barefoot. We hope to see you there!
