Guitar lessons for beginners and those that want to advance their playing. You will need your own guitar. You may bring your guitar with you in the morning and I can store it in my classroom during the day. If you have never played a guitar, now is a good time to start! You will be responsible for setting up a ride home at 4pm.

Homework club offers students a quiet place to complete homework or study for an assessment. Small group and partner tutorials from IA students and support teacher. Bring any and all homework or assignments that you have questions about, and we will help you review the material and successfully accomplish the assignment.

Students can come hang out together and play Minecraft or other computer games in a safe supervised environment. You need a device you can play on and your own Minecraft account. Come play some strategy board games at the Muir Board Game Club! Connect with your friends and fellow Muir students while learning to play all sorts of different strategy board games. Each month we will focus on a different style of game play by learning and playing some of the "standards" of the strategy board game world. We learn the game together, and then play it for the month. Below are some of the games we are scheduled to play this year: We also have a TON of other games that we will have time to play and learn, as well as games students that are part of the club, can check out from our library to take home and share with their families.

Quiz Bowl is an academic competition in a Jeopardy style team format where we practice after school on Monday and also compete monthly against other districts, including Hartland and Howell. Any fans of trivia will have a great time!

What’s Up: Living My Best Life! Build your skills to be the best version of yourself. Focus on assertiveness, communication, decision making, conflict resolution, refusal skills and self confidence through games and crafts. This program runs for 8 sessions.
