Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid and Safe Home AloneBabysittingCourse Description: Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. One-day class. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years). To be certified students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end and successfully complete all skills, which requires full motor function of all four extremities. No refunds or credit with less than 24-hour notice. If you need a medical exception, email Live Safe Academy at info@LiveSafeAcademy.com before class. Bring a snack, pen and paper for notes is optional. No cell phone use during class except during break. Please note that students must arrive on time to be certified, so please arrive up to 10 minutes early. Parents, this class is for students who are independent and responsible enough to be responsible for the safety and well-being of younger children without adult supervision. Please check in your student at the beginning of class. Drop off and pick up is in the same room as class. This class sometimes ends late, approximately 10 minutes. Safe Town HVSSafety TrainingSafe Town is an early childhood safety education program. Children learn all aspects of safety through projects, songs, games, presentations, and plays. This program teaches bus safety, electricity and water safety, dog safety, stranger safety, bike safety and much more. Visitors come each day. Crafts supporting the daily theme are completed and children get important information about starting school. Part of each day is spent "In the Town" with some of the children being pedestrians and some as drivers of 14" or 16" two-wheel bikes with training wheels. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD BRING IN THEIR OWN LABELED HELMET AND BACKPACK. Safe Town is for children entering Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten or First Grade in the fall. The sessions meet for one week for three hours per day. Children are required to bring their own lunch with a beverage (nut free). Scholarships are available for this program. “Moana 2” Musical Theatre CampMusic & TheaterThrough an abridged version of the script “Moana 2”, students will discover the joys of acting, improv, voice, speech, theater, dance and more! Students will begin each day with Singing, Acting and Dance Classes and Rehearse in the afternoon. We’ll have special theme days and special camp activities throughout the week. Camp will end with a culminating presentation where students can showcase the tools and skills they learned with Sunset Theatre Company! Students will have a great time and leave with a brand new sense of self confidence and teamwork. Excellent for both boys and girls. Camp is for beginners to advanced students.
