Johnson: Hands-On Science Hour!Johnson Elem Empower HourScience for A-spy-ring Spies (Grades 3-5):Students will learn to complete simple missions each week to earn a prize: creating codes and ciphers for secret messages, invisible inks, chemical evidence analysis, maps and mazes, learning to work with fragments of data, and surveillance memory puzzles. Planned activities may be adjusted for student interest/skill levels. Science Lessons for Aspiring Wizards (Grades 3-5): Magic Wands, Bubbling Cauldrons, Witch’s Slime, Troll Magnetic Slime, Golden Snitches, Magical Animal Familiars, Color Changing Potions and so much more (activities may be adjusted based on the interest and skill levels of the participants)A Hands-on science program for aspiring witches and wizards. The registration Deadline for this program will be one week before the first class. Mr. Browne's Intramural Basketball - Johnson Empower HourJohnson Elem Empower HourBasketball intramurals are here! Third, Fourth and Fifth grade boys and girls are encouraged to sign up for basketball after school in our gym. Mr. Browne is hosting basketball for the months of February, March and April. . Students will be trained with proven, age-appropriate techniques that are necessary for kids to protect themselves from attackers. As the session continues, our budding artists continue with dynamic challenges like a playful Llama and adorable Penguins full of personality.
