In this 3 week hand-building clay workshop, students will develop an understanding of clay properties, processes & vocabulary. Beginning with flat slabs, students will cut, fold and add surface detail and texture to create an owl! They will finish their bisque-fired owl using bright colors and an oil pastel resist technique. 8 -9 AM :Please drop your student off at the front car rider circle. We will gather before entering the main entrance together. I will release your child to their class line after clay club at the start of the school day. If you are running behind and the front entrance is locked, please remain with your child and we will check back frequently. 4:15-5:15 PM: I will gather students after dismissal at 4:08 in the art room. After the session is over, I will walk your child out to the front circle at 5:15 to your waiting vehicle. If you are running behind, please email if possible to let me know and I will remain with your child until you arrive. Note: If your child will be absent, please email to let me know and we can arrange to make up the session at another time.

Come join Beads & Buddies, a kandi design making club with Mrs. Smith! Like Bracelets? Animals? Colorful things?Then you'll like this club. You can make your own bracelets with colorful, sparkly, and unique beads however you want! You'll learn how to make beaded animals (like lizards 🦎 and frogs 🐸) in whichever patterns or styles you choose! Design things to trade or keep for yourself, make new friends, and have fun in a creative club free of judgement! No experience needed, we'll teach you! Just bring your imagination!🌈 🙂 Smiles are encouraged!

Science for Wizards (Grades 3-5): A Hands-on science program for aspiring witches and wizards. The registration Deadline for this program will be one week before the first class. We'll cover potions, magic wands, math magic, troll slime, as well as other topics as time allows.

Join us for Rhyme and Shine, the magical, before-school adventure where words wiggle, poems pop, and imaginations run wild (like unicorns on roller skates)! 🦄🎢Every Monday before school, we’ll dive into the wonderful world of poetry. Haikus, limericks, odes, acrostics—you name it, we’ll try it! Each week starts with a fun “mentor poem” to tickle our brains, and then we’ll write one together before setting off to create our own masterpieces. Want to write about talking tacos or flying dragons? Go for it! Don’t worry if you're just starting to write—Ms. Storm is here to help! She’ll be your idea-scribbler and word-helper for our littlest poets, and everyone will get friendly feedback to help their writing sparkle.
