Prerequisite: Swim 20’ unaided using any technique
These lessons cover the basics of front crawl and back crawl Upon completion of this course students may move on to Pre-Team.
Skills To Be Learned 1. Breaststroke kick 2. Dolphin Kick (butterfly kick) 3. Freestyle & Backstroke Flip-turns 4. Breaststroke swim 5. Butterfly arms 6. Butterfly swim 7. Windshield Wiper w/seesaw
Advancement Goals 1. Swim freestyle 75 ft. 2. Kick breaststroke 20 ft. 3. Swim backstroke 30 ft. 4. Jump in and tread water 5. Tread water for 1 minute 6. Swim 25 yds. Breaststroke 7. Swim 30 ft. Butterfly
