American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric CPR, AED and First AidPersonal Development (Health and Wellness)The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid Course is designed to prepare participants with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to respond confidently in emergency situations involving adults, children, and infants. Participants will be able to recognize and care for emergencies involving CPR, AED use, choking, sudden illness, and injury care. This course combines online learning with an in-person skills session, offering a flexible and efficient way to earn certification while still practicing essential life saving techniques. Please note that all online training must be completed prior to attending the in-person training. Upon successful completion of both the online and in-person requirements, participants will receive an official American Red Cross certification card, valid for two years. You’ll gain evidence-based nutrition guidance, simple tools to make healthier choices easier, and encouragement from others who share similar goals. The course is led by a Registered Dietitian and Oakland University nutrition instructor, providing participants with trusted, science-based information and professional guidance.
